Walton Youth Project

Phase II

Following the successful installation of the Multi Use Games Area at Howard Close the village is looking forward to completing Phase II of the Youth Project which resulted from the Walton Village Appraisal way back in 1985. There will be an informative presentation at the next Village Forum Meeting on Tuesday 20 October in Riddell Hall when the new hall specification will be on display together with a report of the updated fundraising position.

The next fundraiser will be held at Riddell Hall with the Jinn House rock band: this is planned for Saturday 24 October 8.30pm to 11.30pm. Bring your own drink and tumbler and £1 for a raffle ticket. Tickets will only be £8 in advance from Clare on 07704 666894 or email smyl@nildram.co.uk All proceeds to the Scout Hut rebuilding fund.

We are also planning a Race Night with fish and chip supper for a Friday in November. The Artisans have very kindly offered their facilities for the evening and members will welcome villagers to join in alongside the scouting contingent.
