We are just coming to an end of a one year project in the village to transform a garden in Meadow Walk called Petersmead. We took over from a local company and ever since have taken to give the Byles family a garden they can be proud of.
The garden features, a pond with stream, a sunken garden with hydrangeas surrounding it. A rockery joned to the stream, feature stones sourced directly from a quarry in Cornwall, an arboretum with some rare and beautiful trees, a secret garden encassed with bamboo, herbaceous borders and four new lawns, one of which I am currently laying as we speak. There is a complete irrigation system being incorporated throughout the entire garden to ensure minimum effort by the owners with maximum returns.
We were recently approached by Sue Edwards of the Walton-on-the-Hill Horticultural Society who after popular local demand from passers by, has asked us to open the garden for their open day on 13th and 14th June 2009. Of course I was delighted and agreed.
Our success here has also been awarded another smaller commision for a very well known local and all together wonderful couple, to erect a greenhouse. One of our many specialities. We hope to go from strength to strength and gain further commissions in the village and surrounding areas and as such are now available to take further bookings, but be quick as spring is fast approaching and our time will then be extremely limited.
