Banstead Arts Festival
2nd - 17th May 2009
Banstead Arts Festival Society brings to the local area artists of national and international standing, as well as outstanding local talent. From September to March the Society presents a series of professional concerts and at the beginning of May each year a Festival is held: a wide variety of evening events - music from jazz to chamber ensembles and all shades in between! - and lunch-time concerts, exhibitions, walks, talks and coach visits. We are proud of our association with other local organisations, such as the W.E.A, History Society, local schools, churches and art groups, all of whom regularly take part in the Festival.

This lively amateur orchestra meets regularly at 8.00pm in the Community Centre, Breech Lane Walton on the hill and welcomes string players and full orchestra on alternate Wednesdays. Friendly and enjoyable, the orchestra welcomes all musicians. Cost is £2.00 per night.
